Important INNOVATION in utility payments

The new system will allow subscribers to receive information about utilities from a single platform and make payments in a more convenient way. Through this system, users will be able to track their debts, consumption indicators, and tariffs for electricity, gas, water, heating, and other utilities.

According to the chairman of the board of the Information and Communication Technology Industry Association Elvin Abbasov, the system will ensure information exchange and provide subscribers with accurate and prompt service.

50 percent of services and notifications will be provided through the "myGov" portal.

The unified information system at the initial stage will be implemented as a pilot project in major cities. After the formation of infrastructure and technological capabilities, a phased implementation of the system in all regions is planned.

It is noted that currently sometimes different addresses are indicated for the same locations in utility services. This system will solve such a problem at its root. It is expected that with the implementation of the system, relations between citizens and institutions will improve.

It is worth noting that the project is being implemented by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development.

The implementation of the innovation is expected this year.
