Heavy rains, thunderstorms and gusty winds expected in Baku - FORECAST

Continuous intensive heavy rains are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula from the night of April 15 to 16, which may be particularly strong in some areas of the peninsula until the first half of the day.

BAKU.WS was informed about this by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of thunderstorms. A strong northwestern wind is expected.

The air temperature at night will be 6-9° above zero, during the day 10-12° above zero. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 760 mm of mercury to 766 mm of mercury. Relative humidity will reach 90-95%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, periodic heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in some places. In certain areas, precipitation may be intensive and heavy, hail is possible, and in some mountainous regions - snowfall. Fog is expected in some places at night and in the morning. The western wind will temporarily intensify in some areas.

The air temperature at night will be 5-9° above zero, during the day 9-14° above zero, in the mountains at night 3-8° below zero, during the day 0-3° below zero.
