From today, sick leave certificates will be issued in electronic form

From today, in medical institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health and the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBİB), "disability certificates for insured persons" will be prepared in the form of an electronic document through the "Unified Health Information System" of the Ministry of Health.

As reported by BAKU.WS, medical institutions will confirm sick leaves with an electronic signature and send them to the employer and the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in electronic form. This electronic document will become the basis for the SSPF to assign benefits to the employee for temporary disability, pregnancy and childbirth.

To implement this goal, the Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Labor, has created a unified electronic registry that combines data on electronic sick leaves.

As a result, employers will be able to easily and conveniently receive these electronic bulletins from the relevant information system of the Ministry of Labor, and healthcare workers - through the portal and mobile application e-Səhiyyə.

In addition, it will be possible to receive an electronic sick leave on non-working days.
