Food poisoning incident occurred at Baku restaurant

A case of food poisoning has been reported at a well-known restaurant in Baku.

As Baku.ws reports with reference to Report, this was told by restaurant visitor Khaldun Novruzzade.

He claims that he and his wife got food poisoning after eating mushroom soup at the restaurant. The victims received medical assistance at the toxicology department of the Clinical Medical Center (CMC).

Novruzzade filed a complaint with the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA).

In response to Report's inquiry, the FSAA stated that the issue has been taken under control by the agency's Baku regional office: "The results of the investigation will be reported additionally."

According to CMC's response to Report's inquiry, on January 10 at around 02:08, Khaldun Novruzzade (born 1991) was brought to the emergency department of the Center with complaints of fever, weakness, and nausea: "After examination, the patient was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. After receiving necessary medical care, the patient was discharged home for outpatient treatment."
