Sofia Rotaru refused performances and million-dollar fees: what is the reason?

People's favorite and legend of the Ukrainian stage Sofia Rotaru has decided to refuse performances at concerts and corporate events until the end of the war in Ukraine.

According to Russian media, the singer does not agree even to very large fees for an unexpected reason. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the artist almost completely disappeared from the public space, but later openly declared her support for Ukraine, began to help the Armed Forces and affected citizens.

Rotaru finally severed all ties with Russia and stopped touring activities in the aggressor country.
