Brothers from Azerbaijan who became famous worldwide: "We still continue to rehearse"
"We are 50-51 years old. We chose this art because it speaks to our hearts. We entered the profession at the age of 13. We currently live in Russia. This is our first time visiting our homeland on a work trip. Here we are performing in the circus show 'The World of Adrenaline'."
Azerbaijani brothers Oktay and Telman Novruzov, performing in the circus show "The World of Adrenaline," shared this in an interview with BAKU.WS.
Oktay Novruzov emphasized that together with his brother Telman, they have performed at circus venues in numerous countries around the world:
"We have appeared on the most famous stages in the world as comedy tightrope walkers. We participated in the International Circus Festival of Massy in France. We performed on Italian television. We worked in such well-known German circuses as 'Roncalli,' 'Krone,' and 'Conelli'."
The Azerbaijani brothers also noted that despite more than 30 years of experience in the profession, they continue to rehearse:
"Preparing performances is usually not limited by time constraints. We have been in this art for over 30 years. However, we still rehearse to this day. Things are constantly changing - costumes, music, movements. We would like this profession to exist forever and continue to live on. Among our children, however, no one has carried on our craft. This field brings good income, and we are quite satisfied with our earnings."
As a reminder, one of the most thrilling and extreme circus programs of the year - "The World of Adrenaline" - has launched at the "Circus Sea Breeze" arena. The new international program brings together the most impressive acts of genuine circus art and promises audiences a spectacular show filled with speed, excitement, and unforgettable emotions.
The event is organized by "Circus Oscar" award laureate Allahverdi Israfilov.
