Zakir Hasanov met with Selçuk Bayraktar

Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation visiting our country headed by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish company Baykar, Selçuk Bayraktar.

This was reported to BAKU.WS by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Colonel General Z. Hasanov noted that relations between the two brotherly countries in the military sphere are developing successfully, as well as in other areas.

The Minister highlighted the significant role of Baykar company in Turkey's defense industry and emphasized the importance of further developing joint production potential through the introduction of advanced technological innovations.

Expressing gratitude for the hospitality extended, S. Bayraktar particularly noted that mutual visits have a positive impact on strengthening Azerbaijani-Turkish military and military-technical cooperation.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to our country Birol Akgün, the parties discussed in detail issues in the areas of unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and other spheres.
