Xi Jinping Congratulated Ilham Aliyev

Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

I have the honor to express to you and, through you, to the friendly Azerbaijani people my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

China and Azerbaijan are comprehensive strategic partners. Under our joint planning and guidance, Chinese-Azerbaijani relations have risen to a new level, and cooperation in various spheres has achieved great results. I attach great importance to the development of Chinese-Azerbaijani relations and am ready to make joint efforts with you to ensure the high-level momentum of bilateral relations for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
