Who now has the right to draw up protocols in Azerbaijan? - DECREE

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made changes to the list of officials authorized to draw up protocols on administrative offenses considered by district (city) and military courts.

As AZERTAJ reports, the presidential decree introduces new categories of authorized officials.

In particular, representatives of the State Customs Committee will be granted the right to draw up protocols regarding the import of incandescent electric lamps, while employees of the Ministry of Energy will be authorized to do so regarding the production of these products.

They will have the right to draw up protocols regarding violations related to the import and production of incandescent lamps.

The document comes into effect on January 1, 2026 for lamps with power from 60 W and from July 1 of the same year for lamps from 25 to 60 W.
