What goods can be imported from Armenia to Azerbaijan?

In recent days, information has been spreading about the start of imports of goods from Armenia to Azerbaijan.

As Oxu.Az reports with reference to Baku TV, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon this topic but did not disclose the details of trade operations.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has been exporting to that country since 2025. Last year, the export volume amounted to 788,800 dollars, and for January-July 2026 it reached 17,372,100 dollars. Fuel products constituted the bulk of export shipments.

Do the structure of the economy and the export potential of Armenia allow for imports to Azerbaijan in significant volumes?

According to economist Khalid Karimli, at the current stage, imports from Armenia to Azerbaijan are most likely to consist of industrial products. The expert also noted that in the future, trade in food products and everyday consumer goods between the two countries is possible.
