The Caliber.Az YouTube channel continues its series of programs "History. Documents. Facts."
The new episode is dedicated to the activities of outstanding Turkic scholars and literary figures whose contributions to science and culture have gained worldwide recognition.
The program notes that while in Europe, prior to the Age of Enlightenment, access to education was limited and controlled by the church, in the East, literature, medicine, astronomy, and mathematics had already been actively developing for centuries.
The material also emphasizes that the achievements of medieval Eastern thinkers, who worked within a shared intellectual environment, today belong to all of humanity.
