The IV Shusha Global Media Forum begins its work today.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the two-day forum this year is held under the slogan "The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust."

About 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 53 countries will participate in the event. At the same time, about 30 international news agencies and more than 60 leading media organizations will be represented at the forum. In addition, representatives of about 10 international organizations and companies will take part in the event.

Within the framework of the forum, panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, and interactive sessions will be organized on such pressing topics as the role of media in peacebuilding, cross-border media dialogue and rebuilding public trust, international cooperation in combating disinformation, creating a safe information environment on digital platforms, media ethics in the era of artificial intelligence, and responsible journalism.

The event, emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior in media, aims to facilitate the adoption of practical steps toward rebuilding undermined trust between societies, strengthening digital solidarity, and ensuring peace.
