The Unceasing Echo of the Shusha Media Forum
More than a month has passed since the III Shusha Global Media Forum completed its work, but its echoes still have not subsided. Recently, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included political scientist and former State Duma deputy Sergey Markov in the registry of so-called "foreign agents".
This is reported in the new issue of the Caliber.Az YouTube channel.
"The basis was - we quote - "participation in the creation and distribution of messages and materials of foreign agents and organizations undesirable in the Russian Federation". Also, the reason for including Sergey Markov in the list of foreign agents was the expert's comments - beginning of quote - "on platforms provided by foreign media and a foreign agent".
The message on the Ministry of Justice website also states that Markov "disseminated unreliable information about decisions made by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies," - the material notes.
