The COP29 President called for urgent measures against carbon dioxide emissions
Joint reforms are needed to prevent carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere
As Report informs, this was stated by COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev during his speech on the second day of Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW2025).
According to him, it is urgent to stop carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere: "If there are several factors accelerating climate change, one of them is carbon dioxide. Joint reforms are needed. Along with this, it is necessary to invest in the education system. This is important to strengthen the contribution of young people to addressing climate change issues."
Babayev noted that healthcare also plays an important role in the climate issue: "It's not just about education, but also about the need to expand partnership in the field of healthcare."
