Russia at WUF13 declared its commitment to sustainable urban development
Russia remains committed to achieving sustainable urban development goals and continues to implement large-scale housing construction projects.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin at a ministerial round table within the framework of WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, the construction industry is one of the key drivers of the country's economic development.
"New residential neighborhoods and social facilities are being built across the country, communal infrastructure is being modernized, and public spaces are being developed," Stasishin said.
The deputy minister noted that Russia is implementing large-scale national projects related to creating infrastructure for living.
"Over the past 5 years, we have built approximately 650 million square meters of housing," he emphasized.
