Rubio: TRIPP will provide significant opportunities for Azerbaijan and Armenia
The TRIPP project ("Trump Route to Integrated Prosperity and Peace") will provide significant opportunities for Azerbaijan and Armenia.
As Report conveys with reference to the U.S. State Department, Secretary of State Marco Rubio made this statement while speaking before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.
According to him, overall the last 16-17 months of the State Department's work have been characterized by a combination of significant achievements and persisting complex international challenges.
"The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended. Moreover, it ended with a memorandum signed by me, creating a new route of prosperity - TRIPP, which will provide significant opportunities for both countries," he said.
Rubio also recalled that the United States participated in resolving a number of conflicts, including tensions between India and Pakistan, where, according to him, a full-scale war between nuclear powers was prevented. He also noted the role of the United States in settling conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, as well as ending the war in Gaza and freeing all remaining hostages.
It should be recalled that on May 26, a framework agreement on strategic partnership was signed between Armenia and the United States within the framework of the TRIPP project.
