Riad Gasimov: WUF13 reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to innovations in urban development
The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) taking place in Baku reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to urban transformation, international cooperation, and innovative approaches to urban development.
As Report informs, this was stated by Riad Gasimov, Head of the Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Baku City under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, at an event within the framework of WUF13.
He called the hosting of WUF13 in Baku a great honor for Azerbaijan: "Urban planning and architecture have become one of the main priorities of our national development program. This commitment has been further strengthened by the declaration of 2026 as the 'Year of Urban Planning and Architecture'."
