President: Unfortunately, double standards today are a common practice for PACE
In September 2023, Azerbaijan put an end to separatism in Karabakh. We implemented four resolutions of the UN Security Council from 1993 that had remained on paper for thirty years. Four months later, PACE imposed sanctions against our delegation.
As reported by AZERTAC, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this in a video address at the 8th Summit of the European Political Community.
"Unfortunately, double standards are a common practice for PACE today. The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan has the same value as that of any other country, and double standards on this issue are unacceptable," the head of state emphasized.
