President of Azerbaijan: We can supply gas to other countries via the Arabian gas pipeline

Azerbaijan will be able to supply gas to other countries through the Arabian gas pipeline or by other means.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with "Al-Arabiya".

"Of course, entering the Middle East with our natural resources is our first experience. As I have already said, we believe that we will be able to increase the volume of gas supplies to Syria, as well as supply gas to other countries through the Arabian gas pipeline or by other means, for example, through swap practices. We also trade in energy resources. That is, we not only sell our oil and gas, but also perform the functions of an international trader. So our potential is greater than one might imagine. Therefore, from this point of view, I think this is an important factor," noted the head of state.

Regarding relations with the countries of the Middle East, primarily with the member countries of the Gulf Arab States Cooperation Council, according to him, they are very good, very friendly and result-oriented: "We have a very strong partnership with these countries. And, by the way, our main investors in the field of renewable energy are companies from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. They are our main investors. They are already investing."
