President Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Paraguayan counterpart

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and through you to all your people my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of Paraguay.

I believe that through our joint efforts, the Azerbaijani-Paraguayan friendly relations will be further developed, and cooperation both on bilateral and multilateral basis will continue to be successfully pursued in the interests of our peoples.

On this significant day, I convey to you my best wishes, and wish the friendly people of Paraguay lasting peace and prosperity".
