President: Digitalization and cybersecurity must be considered a priority in every ministry

There must be close contacts between government structures, fragmentation is unacceptable. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, together with other government structures, must prepare and present to me an action plan in the shortest possible time.

As Oxu.Az reports, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan called "New Digital Architecture of Azerbaijan".

"I believe that for more effective organization of work in each government body, primarily in ministries, a deputy for digitalization, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity should be appointed - either a new staff position needs to be created, or this area should be assigned to one of the current deputies, so that employees and the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport know whom they will be in contact with. In each government institution, this area should be considered a priority," the head of state noted.
