Patriarch Kirill arrived in Azerbaijan

Patriarch Kirill arrived on a visit to Baku.

This was reported on the website of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC).

The head of the ROC is accompanied on the trip by his personal secretary, Bishop Alexiy (Turikov) of Ramenskoye.

At the airport, he was met by Bishop Alexiy (Smirnov) of Baku and Azerbaijan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov, and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic for Work with Religious Formations Sahib Nagiyev.
