Pashinyan: Armenia will send the US a draft TRIPP agreement in the coming days
In the coming days, a draft agreement on the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project will be sent to partners from the United States.
This was announced by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, responding in parliament to a question about the schedule for developing cooperation with the United States.
"Regarding TRIPP, we will proceed according to the following schedule: in the coming days, we will transmit to our partners from the United States our views on the agreement document related to the TRIPP project. The draft agreement will be based on the implementation framework approved by the governments of both countries, which, in turn, is based on the statement from August 8," he said.
Pashinyan noted that the technical and economic assessment of the project has already begun.
As a reminder, on August 8, 2025, following a trilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington, Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration on peaceful settlement between Baku and Yerevan and the creation of a transport communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. This project was named the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP).
