Parliament ratified the international document

The Milli Majlis ratified the International Convention "On the Management and Control of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments."

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this issue was brought up for discussion at today's extraordinary session of parliament.

After discussions, the draft was put to a vote and adopted in a single reading.

It should be noted that the convention was signed on February 13, 2004, in London.
