Media Excellence Center of D-8 Strategy Presented in Shusha

The strategy of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation Media Center of Excellence was presented within the framework of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

As Report informs, the event was attended by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, D-8 Secretary General Sohail Mahmood, and media leaders.

The center is aimed at strengthening media cooperation between D-8 countries, enhancing professional capacity, developing research and innovation, as well as combating disinformation.

In the subsequent stages, it is planned to establish a network of media organizations of the member countries, implement joint projects, expand partnerships with international organizations, and exchange best practices.

Within the framework of the center's activities, annual advisory councils will be held, action plans will be discussed, and goals will be defined.
