Masoud Pezeshkian called President Ilham Aliyev
On March 8, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
As reported by BAKU.WS, President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked the head of our state for visiting the Embassy of Iran in Azerbaijan and expressing condolences over the death of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and many civilians, as well as for the intention to provide humanitarian aid to Iran.
Stating that the aerial shelling incident in Nakhchivan has no connection to Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that what happened would be investigated.
