Leyla Aliyeva visited the Ethiopia Science Museum
Leyla Aliyeva is on a visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Leyla Aliyeva was met by the Minister of Planning and Development of Ethiopia, Fitsum Assefa Adela.
A traditional coffee ceremony was organized in honor of Leyla Aliyeva, reflecting the ancient and rich culture of Ethiopia. During the event, guests were provided with detailed information about this ancient ritual. At the end of the ceremony, guests were offered freshly brewed Ethiopian coffee, known for its exquisite aroma and unusual taste.
Then Leyla Aliyeva visited the Science Museum of Ethiopia. Here she was met by the head of the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Alemetsehay Paulos.
It was reported that the Science Museum of Ethiopia was opened to visitors in October 2022. The museum, built on an area of seven hectares, 80% of which consists of green spaces, consists of two majestic buildings. This giant museum complex is designed to function as a research center, preserve both ancient and modern technologies in various fields and pass them on to future generations.
The complex, built on the initiative of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, includes modern interactive exhibits dedicated to science and technology, a planetarium and environmentally friendly design elements such as solar panels.
The museum aims to encourage innovation and develop digital skills, especially among young people, and plays an important role as a center for technological events and conferences. Very popular among children and young people, the museum has already been visited by 7 million children. This complex, being a key element of Ethiopia's efforts aimed at digital transformation, also successfully demonstrates both the achievements of modern science and national heritage.
