Leyla Aliyeva visited a boarding school in Lankaran

On November 21, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva visited the Special Boarding School for Children with Disabilities in Lankaran.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, they first viewed an exhibition of handmade items dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the historical Victory together with students and teachers of the school.

Then they observed the processes of effective organization of children's leisure time in classrooms, exercise and recreation rooms.

It should be noted that at the Special Boarding School for Children with Disabilities, which is regional and the only one in the Southern region, specialists provide both education and rehabilitation for children with autism and Down syndrome, as well as intellectual developmental delays. Conditions have also been created for these children to stay at the school, and 34 children are using this opportunity.
