Khafissat Chitieva recounted her experience after the AZAL plane crash
Hafisat Chitieva, who was injured in the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane crash near the city of Aktau (Kazakhstan), spent a month in a coma.
She told Baku TV about the tragedy.
According to her, she was flying to visit her husband:
"I was boarding the plane with two of my husband's aunts. When the incident occurred, panic ensued, everyone was screaming. Everything flew out of my head. I only remember Hokuma's words: 'Everything will be fine'."
H. Chitieva reported that as a result of the accident, her spine, left shoulder, ribs, chest, and leg were broken:
"I have an implant in my spine. My left shoulder still requires treatment.
When I came out of the coma, I asked myself why I was in this condition, I didn't understand anything. I'm still afraid, in the evenings I can't sleep peacefully. I've watched the video from the accident site many times. My name was also listed among the deceased."
