Kamaleddin Heydarov dismissed General Rafail Mehdiyev

Deputy Chief for Medical Affairs of the Medical Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) Major General Rafail Mehdiev has been relieved of his position.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Qaynarinfo, the corresponding order was signed by the head of the department, Colonel-General Kyamaleddin Heydarov.

Note that R. Mehtiev, who previously held the position of Head of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Justice, was appointed Deputy Chief for Medical Affairs of the MES Medical Service in October last year, and in March of this year - as Acting Chief of this service.

Recall that in July last year, he was relieved of his position as Head of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Justice. Information then appeared in the media about serious facts of corruption discovered during the inspection and the disappearance of significant funds in this structure.
