Jeyhun Bayramov discussed security issues in the Caspian region with his Iranian counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the MFA of Azerbaijan, during the telephone conversation the parties discussed the regional situation.

The ministers also exchanged views on possible efforts towards ending the military escalation in the region. In addition, the importance of ensuring security in the Caspian region was emphasized.

J. Bayramov once again drew attention to the expectations of the Azerbaijani side regarding the completion of the investigation into the facts of drone attacks from the territory of Iran on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The parties also exchanged views on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
