Iran's "Invisible" Leader's First Address

The new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, addressed the nation for the first time since his election to the position by the Assembly of Experts on March 12.

The YouTube channel Azad İran noted that the address was broadcast on Iranian state television and was read by a presenter.

The new leader of the country himself did not appear on camera. It is noted that he was injured on the first day of the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran and is presumably in a condition that does not allow him to address the nation.
