Ilham Aliyev touched upon relations with the EU at a press conference

President Ilham Aliyev addressed Azerbaijan's relations with the European Union at a press conference with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.

As reported by AZERTAC, the head of state said: "This year we have witnessed visits to Azerbaijan by both the President of the Council of the European Union, Mr. Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen. These visits carry very significant political importance. This will further strengthen the ties between the European Union and Azerbaijan."
