Ilham Aliyev: Today war criminals have received their deserved punishment

Those who sat in this building (the building of the former executive power in Khankendi - ed.) - war criminals, received their deserved punishment.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his congratulation to the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of Victory Day.

"They wanted to come to Baku on tanks, they wanted to drink tea in Baku. They made arrogant statements because they had secured the patronage of certain forces and believed they would carry out their occupation policy forever. But we showed them who is who," the head of state emphasized.
