Ilham Aliyev: The world cannot do without fossil fuels

The world cannot do without fossil fuels.

As reported by AZERTAC, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this in his speech at the official opening ceremony of the XXXI Baku Energy Forum.

"We all want to improve the climate in order to save the planet. We all want to live in a more favorable environment. But today we must be very pragmatic and realistic, plan our future from the standpoint of energy security, and also invest in renewable energy sources," the head of state added.
