Ilham Aliyev: Some officials built palaces for themselves on arable lands

Some officials built palaces for themselves on arable lands, and, of course, all these are illegal actions.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev, while receiving his new plenipotentiary representative in Nakhchivan and appointed heads of Executive authority of several regions.

According to the head of state, there are still issues that exist in the field today and concern people that need to be resolved.

"And here the main thing is the principle of social justice. In every region, in every village, people should see and know that justice always has the advantage. At one time, the cause of negative development of processes in our regions was precisely the unsightly actions and instructions of some officials from the central bodies of Executive authority. As they say, there is no trace left of these officials.

As a result of the personnel reforms carried out in the bureaucratic corps in Azerbaijan, especially in the central bodies of Executive authority, the situation has significantly improved. Therefore, I am absolutely sure that from now on, you will not be given any illegal instructions from the center. There were such cases at one time, and officials who gave such instructions, considering illegal enrichment as their main goal, are now answering before the court. There were many cases of irrational use of lands, their seizure, and changing their categories. On arable lands, some officials built palaces for themselves, and, of course, all these are illegal actions," - President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
