Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on granting special scholarships to young talents
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on granting special scholarships to young talents.
As reported by AZERTAJ, the document states:
"Guided by paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with paragraph 1.4 of the 'Regulations on the "Golden Book" and Special Scholarship for Young Talents,' approved by Decree No. 2368 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 30, 2023, I hereby decree:
1. In order to grant special scholarships to young talents whose names have been entered in the "Golden Book," 61,847 (sixty-one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven) manats shall be allocated to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided for in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026.
2. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the financing provided for in Section 1 of this order.
3. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve the issues arising from this order.
4. This order shall enter into force on the date of its signing."
