President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

As reported by AZERTAJ, the message states:

"Your Excellency,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to your entire people, heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam — Independence Day.

Friendly Vietnam has achieved significant success in ensuring economic development, improving the well-being of its population, and strengthening its international authority.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam are based on traditions of mutual respect, trust, and friendship. The intensification of high-level contacts in recent years and the expansion of political dialogue have created favorable conditions for broader cooperation.
