Ilham Aliyev met with Michael Harms

On July 20, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Berlin with Michael Harms, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German Business.

As reported by AZERTAC, during the meeting, the growing interest of Azerbaijani and German businesspeople and companies in working together was emphasized, and ways to institutionalize such activities were discussed.

An exchange of views took place on the existing potential in the field of traditional and alternative energy, opportunities in the area of connectivity, including the Middle Corridor, transport and logistics.

It was emphasized that a state program related to agriculture has been adopted in Azerbaijan, and the possibilities of applying advanced German technologies in this field in our country were discussed, including the prospects for cooperation in the area of "smart agriculture."

During the conversation, an exchange of views also took place on utilizing the tourism potential of our country and other issues of mutual interest.
