Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Xi Jinping

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolences to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. Chairman,

We are deeply shocked by the news of the death of a large number of people as a result of a severe fire in a residential complex in Hong Kong.

In connection with this tragedy, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and the friendly Chinese people, and wish recovery to the injured."
