Ilham Aliyev congratulated Xi Jinping

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message states:

"Dear Mr. Chairman,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and, in your person, the friendly Chinese people on the upcoming Spring Festival.

This ancient holiday, which is a symbol of peace and harmony, an embodiment of renewal, hope, and a feeling of gratitude to nature, celebrates with all its ideals mutual understanding, friendship, and unity. I wish that the Chunjie festival, marking the beginning of the new year according to the Chinese calendar, brings your people good spirits, well-being, and prosperity.

We are pleased by the deepening and enrichment with new content of the comprehensive strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and China, built on a solid foundation.
