Ilham Aliyev congratulated Sadyr Japarov

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message reads:

"Dear Sadyr Nurgozhoevich,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I convey to you and through you to your entire people my most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of independence of the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic.

Today, under your leadership, Kyrgyzstan has achieved significant success in strengthening statehood, socio-economic progress, and large-scale development, and has earned high authority on the international stage. As a brotherly country, we rejoice in Kyrgyzstan's successes as if they were our own.

It is gratifying that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, bound by traditional ties of friendship and brotherhood, developing year after year, have today reached the level of alliance and acquired new substance. My recent state visit to your hospitable country demonstrated our countries' firm commitment to close partnership and the existence of an extensive cooperation agenda, and laid the foundation for a new stage in the history of Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz relations.

I am confident that Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz ties and alliance will continue to progressively develop and strengthen through our joint efforts in the interests of our peoples.
