Ilham Aliyev congratulated Maia Sandu

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Madam President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to all your people my most heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Moldova.

The progressive development of the traditionally friendly Azerbaijani-Moldovan relations and cooperation today is a source of satisfaction.

I am confident that, in accordance with the will of our peoples, bound to each other by ties of friendship, we will continue to consistently pursue efforts aimed at the comprehensive development of relations between our countries and the further deepening of our cooperation.
