Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan never intended to put up with occupation
As a result of the occupational policy pursued by Armenia against Azerbaijan in the early 1990s, about 20% of our lands were occupied. One million citizens of Azerbaijan became refugees.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the military parade dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War.
Recalling the war crimes committed against our people, the Khojaly genocide, the policy of ethnic cleansing, the head of state emphasized: "This did not break our will. Azerbaijan never intended to accept the occupation."
