Azerbaijan has become an important player on the global energy stage, acting as an initiator and implementer of large-scale infrastructure projects in the energy sector.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the opening ceremony of the IsDB Group Annual Meetings for 2026.

The head of state also noted that Azerbaijan has implemented projects covering countries of the Eurasian region and has provided assistance to countries in need of energy resources.
