Another episode of the "Chronicle of Western Azerbaijan" project in Russian was aired on Baku TV.

As reported by Baku.ws, the host Ellada Sarvan's guest was well-known journalist and director of Report news agency Fuad Huseynaliyev.

He discussed the promises made by US President Donald Trump at his inauguration ceremony, as well as his views on the Russian-Ukrainian war, the situation in the Middle East and the South Caucasus.

"Trump's policy is based on America's interests being above all else. During his campaign, Trump expressed his position on the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Middle East, and the South Caucasus. Trump began fulfilling all his promises made to American society. It's known that under the Biden administration, US-Azerbaijani relations fell into crisis. I think the Trump administration will pay attention to these issues," said F. Huseynaliyev.

According to him, Azerbaijan gives France's colonial regions an opportunity to express themselves. France's interference in Azerbaijan's internal affairs, its support for Armenians, and overall failed policy could end Emmanuel Macron's rule. Azerbaijan doesn't need mediators with interests in the region. During Macron's time, Azerbaijan's relations with France significantly deteriorated. Azerbaijan's independent policy irritates Macron.

Speaking about the country's overall picture in Armenian media, the Report director noted that statements made in Yerevan regarding the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the Zangezur corridor issue are only meant for the press, with no practical steps taken yet.

"Signing a peace agreement will help Armenia get out of the regional deadlock. Armenia could become the next country in which Azerbaijan will invest," said F. Huseynaliyev.
