Five years have passed since the liberation of Hadrut

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Hadrut settlement in Khojavend district from occupation.

On October 9, 2020, the Azerbaijani army wrote a new page in its glorious history by liberating a number of territories of our country from occupation.

The President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev announced the joyful news that replaced the pain of losing our lands with a sense of freedom. In his message on social network X, the head of state announced the liberation of Hadrut settlement and Sor village of Khojavend district, Chayli village of Terter district, Gishlag, Garajally, Efendiler, Suleymanly villages of Jabrayil district, as well as Yukhari Guzlek and Gorazilly villages of Fizuli district.

Recall that last year, on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of these territories, a media tour to Hadrut was organized with the participation of media representatives and military experts.
