Congratulations continue to arrive addressed to President Ilham Aliyev

President of the Republic of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message reads:

"Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives, I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency, the Government and people of Azerbaijan sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Independence Day of your country.

I note with a sense of gratitude the steady development of bilateral relations between our countries, based on mutual respect, trust and cooperation. I am confident that the friendly ties between the Republic of Maldives and the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue to develop in the years ahead.
