Another episode of the "Chronicle of Western Azerbaijan" project in Russian was aired on Baku TV.

The guest of host Ellada Sarvan was Farhad Huseynov, a lecturer at Baku State University, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, and expert.

As a specialist in international relations, he answered questions about the recent rise in political tensions in the world, Israel's strike on Qatar's capital Doha, the killing of Hamas members, the world's reaction to this incident, Europe's restriction of cooperation with Israel, and the imposition of sanctions.

According to F. Huseynov, the clash of interests of major players in the world repeats from time to time.

"Even in the Arab world, they are not satisfied with Hamas management, which led to escalation. When the parties reach a compromise, calm will be restored. What significance does the EU have for Israel in terms of economy? Is Germany ready to give up trade with Israel for the sake of Hamas?" - he said.

The expert stated that NATO could theoretically take action against Russia in response to the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones. "Another package of sanctions against the Russian economy is being prepared. Thanks to economic interdependence, peace will come everywhere," noted F. Huseynov.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences positively assessed the agreement between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on resuming inspections in the country, and also stated that the discovery of pig heads in front of several mosques in Paris, France, was a message to President Emmanuel Macron.

F. Huseynov also emphasized that the socio-political landscape in the region has changed after the meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington, and that the document signed there with the participation of the US President will ensure the functioning of the Zangezur corridor and the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their homeland.
