CEO of ISESCO congratulated the President of Azerbaijan

This special award, bearing the name of the late Sheikh Zayed, is a fitting tribute to the memory of a leader who dedicated his life to the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Your receiving this honor is a clear testament to your courageous leadership and unwavering commitment to opening a new chapter of peace for the South Caucasus.

We have followed with great hope the historic peace initiative between Azerbaijan and Armenia. As you have noted, Your Excellency, it is highly encouraging to see that in the months following the signing of the Joint Declaration on August 8, 2025, in Washington, the societies of both countries are witnessing the real benefits of peace, including promising steps in bilateral trade and transit. This significant progress from dialogue to cooperation truly deserves high appreciation.

ICESCO firmly supports this vital progress toward a final and comprehensive Peace Agreement. We are confident that the foundations laid today will ensure lasting stability, security, and prosperity for future generations in the region. Our organization stands ready to support these efforts through educational, scientific, and cultural programs aimed at building bridges of mutual understanding and solidarity.
